moodcase began in Liechtenstein — as a simple idea between two creatives who wanted to change how photographers collaborate with their clients. Over time, the idea matured, the product evolved, and it became clear: moodcase was ready to grow beyond the concept phase into a trustworthy, structured company.

That next step is now reality: the formation of moodcase GmbH, based in St. Gallen, Switzerland.

The two founders, Mathias from Switzerland and Mike from Liechtenstein, bring nearly 20 years of combined experience in the graphic and software industry.

They’ve worked hands-on with photographers and creative professionals — and have also gained deep technical expertise in the SaaS space by contributing to the growth of industry-leading platforms.

moodcase combines that real-world understanding of creative workflows with a strong foundation in product development, infrastructure, and user-centered design.

Working closely with photographers over the years, they saw a consistent pattern: despite high-end images, the handover to clients often ended in ZIP files and endless back-and-forths via email or chat.

That’s where moodcase comes in.

The platform was born from this real-world pain point: to simplify the selection, approval, and communication around images — while preserving the quality and attention to detail that the photography profession demands.

Today, moodcase is a smart, secure, and streamlined platform that helps photographers and clients collaborate more effectively.
